PUBG Mobile AR Tier List
In total, there are 13 ARs currently available in PUBG Mobile.
Unlike other FPS games where SMGs can dominate the meta, PUBG Mobile usually has a meta where ARs outperform SMGs and other weapon classes. This is mostly because even the weakest assault rifle is more powerful than a mid-tier submachine gun or LMG.
Our AR tier list will rank the guns from S-tier (the best ARs), A-tier (above-average ARs), B-tier (below-average ARs), and F-tier (the worst ARs). S-Tier
The S-tier assault rifles are:
- M416
- Honey Badger
One of the most powerful weapons in PUBG Mobile is the M416, which boasts insane time-to-kill (TTK), zero recoil, wide customization, and effective at long-range. The M416 is the deadliest AR even in the hands of newcomers.
Coming in second in this tier is the Honey Badger,one of the recent additions to PUBG Mobile. It's the most powerful firearm in the 7.62 weapon category. The Honey Badger has a unique recoil pattern with minimal horizontal recoil, which makes it quite predictable and straightforward to control.
For these reasons, the best assault rifles in PUBG Mobile are the M416 and Honey Badger.
A-Tier
The A-tier assault rifles are:
- Groza
- SCAR-L
- M762
- FAMAS
The Groza, SCAR-L, M762, and FAMAS are in this tier because they are decently powerful weapons, however, they lack the effectiveness that only the Honey Badger and M416 can offer.
The FAMAS is arguably one of the standout ARs in this tier. It has recently become a dark horse in this weapon class and is one of the biggest openings for players in the past years. The FAMAS's unique burst-fire mode, when harnessed correctly, can quickly down an opponent with three shots. Still, note that the FAMAS's power rewards only those who push the effort to understand the nuances of using this powerful weapon. If you're not ready for this weapon, the other three weapons offer similar advantages.
B-Tier
The B-tier assault rifles are:
- AKM
- ACE32
- AUG A3
B-tier contains ARs that are below average in the current meta. Namely, these weapons are the AKM, ACE32, andAUG A3.
Each of the weapons from this tier has its strong points such as low recoil, battle range, or power. However, these strengths are offset by weaknesses such as poor attachment compatibility, insufficient time-to-kill, or hard-to-control recoil in the case of AKM.
Still, if you like one of these weapons, there's no reason to worry. You can easily outplay other players and secure wins if you equip the proper attachments and master your skills.
F-Tier
The F-tier assault rifles are:
- M16A4
- Mk47 Mutant
- QBZ
- G36C
F-tier weapons are arguably the weakest ARs you can find in the game. Some rifles – such as the M16A4, Mk47 Mutant, and G36C – have always been weak, while others, like the QBZ,lost their effectiveness over time. Like most fans of ARs, we hope the developers will improve these low-tier weapons and make them meet actual requirements for a decent gun.
