PUBG Mobile LMG Tier List
There are currently three LMGs in PUBG Mobile. With such a small pool of weapons in the roster, it is absolutely pivotal that you choose the right one.
We'll help with you that decision in our tier list. To help decide our rankings, we've considered factors such as the LMGs' damage output, mobility, handling, and general reliability during battles. It starts with the S-tier (the best LMGs), followed by the A-tier (average-performing LMGs), and ends with the F-tier (the worst LMGs).
S-Tier
The S-Tier LMGs are:
- MG3
The best LMG in PUBG Mobile is the MG3. The weapon has two firing modes: close-range at 990 rounds per minute and long-range at 660 rounds per minute. Still, we highly recommend using only the one with 990 rounds per minute as the MG3 is created primarily for close-range combat.
In the latest update, the MG3 received decent improvements. The developers released the pure Damage and Body Damage Multiplier from 1 to 1.05. They also decreased its recoil which makes the MG3's recoil a bit more controlled.
A-Tier
The A-Tier LMGs are:
- DP-28
The DP-28 is a highly controlled firearm with a lower fire rate than the MG3 but has higher velocity bullets that don't drop in long range. That provides a better in-game experience during long-range fights.
So, why did we put the DP-28 in the A-tier? The weapon has a high reloading time and a magazine size of 47 bullets in one round, which is slightly less compared to the MG3. The weapon also gets destroyed by the MG3 if we are talking about short-range encounters – which are the most common scenario in PUBG Mobile.
F-Tier
The F-Tier LMGs are:
- M249
The M249 is ranked last in our LMG tier list. Despite having 100 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition per magazine, its low recoil, and a high rate of fire (similar to the M16A4), it is outperformed by other LMGs as well as ARs and SMGs.
